The 8X is everything the 10X is: a powerful, dual suspension, dual drive scooter. Except, the 8X is a good tire length shorter and more compact than the 10X.

The front and rear suspension on the 8X is the same as the 10X, using a hybrid spring and hydraulic suspension system. If you liked the floating feel on the 10X, you would feel the same floating suspension on the 8X.

The 8 x 3.5 inch tires are honeycombed solid tires which does not require any air inflation (hence no risk of punctures) but yet achieves a nice comfortable bounce similar to air/pneumatic tires. 

Equipped with 2 front and 2 rear LED lights with under chassis lights, the 8X has a flood of lights that makes night riding safe and visible.

The rigid foldable handlebars on the 8X is a bulky departure from the 10X. unlike many other foldable handlebars on the market, the 8X handlebars have absolutely no free play and the 60cm length provides a stable comfortable handle grip. 

The same double quick release folding mechanism on the 10X was applied to the 8X. This double clamp system gives the entire steering stem rigidity and strength.

Brakes

The braking power of the 8X corresponds to its strong acceleration ability. At a speed of 25 km / h, the braking distance is only 3.5 meters. There is only one scooter that performs better braking than the 8X. The braking force is provided by front and rear disc brakes as well as electronic engine brakes.

 

Both systems are controlled via hand-operated brake levers on the handlebars. The electronic system is activated as soon as you press the brake lever. The strength of the electronic braking can be controlled via the P settings of the LCD display.

  

 

Overall, this offers a strong, redundant and reliable braking system.

 

Hydraulic Suspension

The 8X has the same hydraulic suspension as the 10X. The suspension is medium rigid and offers a spring travel of ~ 5 cm.

This is the best type of suspension you can find on an electric scooter. The combination offers suspension that is stiff on slippery roads but can react quickly to bumps. It is designed to ensure that you stay on the road quickly and that you don't throw bumps over the handlebars.


 

Lights

The 8X has front and rear lights mounted deep on the deck. It also has LEDs on the edge of the deck. Overall, the lights are not very bright.

Their low mounting position is good for shining light on the floor, but not good for being visible from a distance. If you drive a lot at night, we recommend additional, brighter lighting.
